We’re inviting residents to use our budget setting tool. This allows you to tell us where you think our spending should be prioritised and where you would like to see the council generate more income.
The tool sets out all the council’s key service areas. These are the areas where we manage the service and control the spending.
Using the tool you can decide to spend more money in some areas, for example ‘keeping the streets clean’, and less in others, for example ‘keeping the borough safe’. Where you spend more in one area, you need to spend less in another.
You may want to also increase council income. For example, council tax or parking income, so that you can spend more on services.
