Consultation has concluded

Oakfield play area update June 2023

The Council would like to thank residents for taking part in the public consultation and is pleased to provide the following update.

The most common feedback for Oakfield play area was about providing more swings and as such the Council as agreed with KOMPAN to provide an additional swing bay, thereby doubling the current swing provision in the play area from two seats to four seats. Two of those will be cradle swings and two flat swings. We will also be reconfiguring the existing kick-about area to mitigate the unintended impact on adjacent residents property arising from use of this facility.

Installation of the new equipment is scheduled to begin in July and will take approximately 4 weeks to complete.
